It’s been a while, but I’m back with new projects from Pinterest.
One of my latest creations is a quote on a piece of canvas in a frame.
The items you will need to create this project are as follows:
- a thin 8×10 sheet of canvas
- stencils
- an 8×10 picture frame of your choosing
- spray paint in the color of your choice
- a quote, song lyric, or phrase you enjoy or would like to use
For my own project I chose a quote by the literary great Ernest Hemingway, “Write drunk, edit sober.”
Place with the stencils on the canvas, you can use a little Elmer’s glue to hold them down while you spray paint them, if you want the distressed look that you will see on my finished project. If you want a cleaner finish I recommend to just set them there very carefully or use double sided tape and do not remove the letters before the spray paint has fully dried.
After removing the letters you your final product should fit perfectly inside a 8×10 picture frame without the glass.
Here is my finished project-
